Rooted in Time, Reimagined for Today

The history of Grantley Arms

Grantley Arms has stood at the heart of village life for centuries. The 17th-century inn has long welcomed travellers, locals, and those simply in search of good company and a hearty meal.

Over the years, it’s been a place of stories shared by the fire, Sunday roasts enjoyed with family, and proper pints poured after a day exploring Yorkshire. Its charm lies in its character - original beams, open hearths, and a sense of ease that only time can build.

In 2025, the traditional country pub entered a new chapter, joining the Grantley Hall family, with careful restoration that honours its heritage while bringing new energy to the food and drink offerings.

Honouring Yorkshire’s Best

Committed to local quality, sustainability, and the spirit of our community

We take great pride in sourcing the very best ingredients from local farmers, growers, and producers who share our commitment to quality and tradition. By keeping everything close to home, we support our community and celebrate the rich flavours of the region. We’re equally mindful of our environmental impact, working to reduce waste, choose responsible suppliers, and minimise food miles wherever possible. It’s all part of doing things properly - with respect for the land, the people, and the heritage that makes Yorkshire so special.
